Sons of God

In my last post, I mentioned that God created several creatures. We are all created beings and surely not the only ones. In Genesis 6:2, “That the sons of God saw that the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose”.

From these un-natural unions came the giants of Genesis 6:4, there were giants in the earth in those days;

The sons of God having taken wives, produced offspring called the Nephilim, part divine, part human. Genesis 6:4 continues with describing the giants as “mighty men which were of old, men of renown”.

Genesis 6:8, is where Noah comes onto the scene as “Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD”.

This is about when Noah began his building of the ark at Gods request in Genesis 6:13, “And God said unto Noah, the end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth”.

May God be with you!

Until next time my friend.
