Has anyone ever read Genesis 4 and seen the true battle of good and evil, the devil against the most high God.

In Genesis 4:7, God warns Cain that sin is lurking at the door and is after him, but he must master it.

Even still Cain, being a cultivator of the earth and Able, a keeper of flocks. Each making an offering to the Lord. Abel offered the firstlings of his flock and the fat thereof, meaning he sacrificed his offering to the Lord, while Cain offered the fruit of the ground.

The Lord, was pleased with Abel’s offering of the blood of his best stock. However, Cain’s offering was not pleasing to the Lord and this angered Cain. By Gen 4:8, Cain lashed out at his brother and the Lord’s acceptance of his offering. It angered his so, that Cain slew his brother Abel.

After this Cain was driven away and out of the site of the Lord and Cain was distraught, fearing death may come to meet him.

By Gen 4:25, the Lord blessed Adam and Eve with another son, Seth. The beginning of the divine chosen blood line to carry out God’s plan of redemption for mankind.

Leviticus 11 ‘For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.’

Without a blood sacrifice, there is no atonement!

May God be with you!

Until next time my friend.
